Description
At the climax of the chapter, the inner court is measured as a perfect square, with the altar standing before the temple. Ezekiel is then brought to the portico, where broad stairs rise to the entrance and pillars stand on either side of the jambs. The scene gathers all previous measurements into a final vision of approach: ordered space leading toward the dwelling of holiness, where structure, worship, and divine presence converge.
