Ezekiel 39 (vv. 1-2)

The prophet announces the LORD's judgment against Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. Gog and his vast forces are being drawn down from the far north toward the mountains of Israel, not by their own power alone but under divine compulsion. The scene captures the ominous march of a foreign army beneath a sky charged with the presence of God.
