Ezekiel 37 (vv. 4-8)

At God's command, Ezekiel prophesies over the dry bones. A powerful rattling sound fills the valley as scattered bones begin to move, drawing together bone to bone. Tendons, flesh, and skin appear over the newly formed bodies, yet they still lie silent and breathless, suspended between death and life.

하나님의 명령에 따라 에스겔이 마른 뼈들에게 예언하자, 골짜기에는 강한 덜커덩거리는 소리가 울려 퍼진다. 흩어져 있던 뼈들이 움직이며 서로 맞닿아 제자리를 찾는다. 그 위에 힘줄과 살이 생기고 피부가 덮이지만, 아직 숨이 없어 그들은 생명과 죽음 사이에 멈춰 서 있다.
