Ezekiel 35 (vv. 10-13)

This scene centers on Edom’s prideful claim that the lands of Israel and Judah can now be possessed and devoured. Edomite figures stand on a height overlooking the mountains of Israel, speaking with confidence and contempt, convinced the devastated land is theirs for the taking. Yet the unseen tension of the scene is that the Lord is still there, hearing every arrogant word and preparing to make Himself known through judgment.
