Ezekiel 14 (vv. 22-23)

After the judgments, some survivors—sons and daughters—are brought out from Jerusalem. Their appearance and conduct become evidence that God's judgment was not without cause, and those who behold them are consoled in understanding divine justice. The scene is not triumphant but sobering: a remnant emerges from ruin, carrying the moral weight of the city's downfall.

심판 후에 몇몇 생존자들, 곧 아들들과 딸들이 예루살렘에서 이끌려 나온다. 그들의 모습과 행실은 하나님의 심판이 까닭 없이 내려진 것이 아님을 보여 주며, 그들을 보는 자들은 하나님의 공의를 깨닫고 위로를 얻게 된다. 이 장면은 승리의 분위기가 아니라 엄숙한 분위기여야 한다. 남은 자들은 폐허 속에서 나오지만, 그들의 존재 자체가 성읍의 몰락이 지닌 도덕적 무게를 드러낸다.
