Description
Moses confronts Pharaoh by the river at dawn and announces a new plague: swarms of flies will fill Egypt, but Goshen, where Israel lives, will be spared. Dense flies then invade Pharaoh’s palace and the houses of Egypt, ruining the land, while Goshen remains untouched. Pharaoh again bargains and asks for prayer, but after the flies are removed, he hardens his heart once more and refuses to let the people go.
