Description
Moses receives the divine formulas for sacred anointing oil and holy incense, made from costly spices by the work of a perfumer. The oil is used to consecrate the tabernacle, its furnishings, and Aaron with his sons, setting them apart as most holy. The incense is ground finely and placed before the covenant, while strict warnings declare that these holy blends must never be copied for ordinary personal use.
