Exodus 27 (vv. 13-16)

This scene isolates the eastern entrance of the courtyard, where worshipers would approach at sunrise. On either side stand shorter linen sections with three posts each, framing the main entrance curtain suspended on four posts. The gate curtain, woven in blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen, glows in the first light of morning. The image highlights the threshold between ordinary desert life and the consecrated space where Israel meets the LORD.
