Description
A richly woven inner curtain of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen, decorated with cherubim, is hung on gold hooks from four gold-covered acacia posts standing on silver bases. Behind this veil the ark of the covenant is placed in the Most Holy Place, and the atonement cover rests upon it, marking the sacred boundary between the Holy Place and the innermost chamber.
