Exodus 24 (vv. 1-2)

The LORD summons Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy elders to come up toward the mountain, but with clear boundaries. Moses alone is permitted to approach more closely, while the others must worship from a distance and the people remain below. The scene establishes holy separation, reverence, and the dangerous majesty of God’s presence at Sinai.

여호와께서 모세와 아론, 나답과 아비후, 그리고 이스라엘 장로 칠십 명을 산으로 올라오라고 부르시지만 분명한 경계를 두신다. 오직 모세만 더 가까이 나아갈 수 있고, 나머지는 멀리서 예배해야 하며 백성은 산 아래에 머물러야 한다. 이 장면은 시내산에서 하나님의 임재 앞에 요구되는 거룩한 구별, 경외심, 그리고 두려운 위엄을 보여 준다.
