Description
The LORD calls Moses to the top of Mount Sinai, then sends him back down with a stern warning: the people and even the priests must not break through the boundaries to gaze upon the LORD, or they will perish. Moses is told to bring Aaron up, but the mountain remains a place of dangerous holiness, where access is granted only by God's command.
