Description
Jethro advises Moses to teach the people God’s decrees and appoint capable, God-fearing, trustworthy men as leaders over thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens. Moses accepts the counsel, selects qualified men from Israel, and establishes an ordered system of justice so that the difficult cases come to him while the simpler matters are settled by others, bringing relief and peace before Jethro departs for his own land.
