Description
Under mounting pressure from the people, Moses goes forward with the elders and the staff that once struck the Nile. At Horeb, he stands before a great rock as the unseen presence of the LORD is signaled by radiant light above or beside it. In obedience, Moses prepares to strike the rock so that life-giving water may come for the people.
