Description
On the sixth day the people gather double, and the preserved manna remains fresh for the Sabbath, teaching Israel to rest and trust. While some vainly search for manna on the seventh day and find none, the larger message culminates in peace: the camp at rest and Aaron setting aside a jar of manna before the LORD as a memorial for future generations. The scene unites obedience, remembrance, and the long faithfulness of God who fed his people through the wilderness.
