Description
In fury, the king leaves the banquet and steps into the palace garden, struggling with his anger. Inside, Haman realizes that judgment is inevitable and throws himself before Queen Esther’s couch, begging for his life. As the king returns, he sees Haman collapsed near Esther and interprets the scene as an outrage against the queen; at once the servants move in and cover Haman’s face, sealing his doom.
