Deuteronomy 28 (vv. 25-35)

The curses intensify into military defeat, sickness, and mental anguish. This scene should not focus on graphic suffering but on emotional collapse: defeated people stumbling back toward the city, others covering diseased skin, and one figure groping uncertainly in daylight as a sign of blindness and confusion. The atmosphere is one of humiliation, helplessness, and social unraveling, as every form of stability—physical, mental, and communal—breaks down.

저주는 군사적 패배와 질병과 정신적 고통으로 더욱 심해진다. 이 장면은 잔혹한 묘사보다 감정적 붕괴에 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 패배한 사람들이 성읍 쪽으로 비틀거리며 돌아오고, 어떤 이들은 병든 피부를 가리며, 또 다른 한 사람은 한낮의 빛 속에서도 더듬거리며 걷는데, 이는 눈멂과 혼란의 상징이다. 분위기는 수치와 무력감, 공동체의 해체로 가득해야 하며, 육체적·정신적·사회적 안정이 모두 무너지는 모습을 보여 주어야 한다.
