Description
After seven weeks from the first cutting of grain, the people come rejoicing with freewill offerings proportionate to the blessings they have received. The gathering is intentionally inclusive: sons and daughters, servants, Levites, foreigners, widows, and the fatherless all stand together before the LORD. The memory of slavery in Egypt deepens the joy, turning harvest celebration into an act of gratitude, humility, and shared worship.

곡식에 처음 낫을 대는 때부터 일곱 주를 센 뒤, 백성은 받은 복에 비례한 자원 예물을 가지고 기쁨으로 나아온다. 이 모임은 의도적으로 모두를 포함한다. 자녀들, 종들, 레위인들, 나그네들, 과부와 고아까지 모두가 여호와 앞에 함께 선다. 애굽에서 종 되었던 기억은 이 기쁨을 더욱 깊게 하여, 추수의 절기를 감사와 겸손, 공동의 예배로 바꾸어 놓는다.
