Deuteronomy 14 (vv. 24-27)

Because the sanctuary is far away, an Israelite household converts its tithe into silver for the journey. Later, at the chosen place, they use the silver to buy cattle, sheep, wine, and other provisions for a sacred feast. The scene combines travel, commerce, and worship, showing that devotion adapts practically without losing its joy or purpose, and that the Levite is included in the celebration.
