Description

God's judgment falls on the unbelieving generation: they will not enter the land, though Caleb will, Joshua is appointed to lead, and the children will inherit what their parents rejected. In pride the people arm themselves and rush into the hill country against God's warning, only to be driven back by the Amorites like a swarm of bees, ending in bitter weeping before the LORD at Kadesh.
