Colossians 1 (vv. 15-20)

This is the theological summit of the chapter: Christ as the image of the invisible God, firstborn over all creation, the one through whom and for whom all things were made, the one in whom all things hold together. The scene presents Christ enthroned in glory without violating reverence, surrounded by the vastness of heaven and earth, visible and invisible realms, while creation itself seems ordered and sustained around him. The cross is present as the means of peace and reconciliation, linking cosmic majesty with sacrificial love.
