Harvest is so rich that reaper, plowman, planter, and grape-treader overlap in joyful labor; wine flows from the hills, ruined cities are rebuilt, vineyards and gardens flourish, and the people dwell again in their land. The scene culminates in permanence: Israel is planted by God and will no longer be uprooted.
