Acts 4 (vv. 23-31)

After their release, Peter and John return to the believers and report everything that the chief priests and elders have said. In response, the gathered community lifts their voices together in prayer, addressing God as the sovereign Creator and recalling the nations’ rebellion against His Anointed. They do not pray for safety but for boldness, asking that God stretch out His hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Jesus. Then the place where they are meeting is shaken, and all are filled with the Holy Spirit. The room becomes a scene of united devotion, divine power, and renewed courage.

석방된 후 베드로와 요한은 믿는 이들에게 돌아가 대제사장들과 장로들이 한 말을 모두 전한다. 그러자 모인 공동체는 한마음으로 소리를 높여 기도하며, 하나님을 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그 가운데 있는 모든 것을 지으신 주권자라고 부른다. 그들은 안전을 구하지 않고 담대함을 구하며, 하나님께서 손을 내밀어 예수의 이름으로 병을 고치시고 표적과 기사를 행해 달라고 간구한다. 그때 그들이 모인 곳이 흔들리고, 모두가 성령으로 충만해진다. 이 방은 연합된 경배와 하나님의 능력, 그리고 새롭게 주어진 담대함의 현장이 된다.
