Acts 24 (vv. 1-9)

In the governor’s hall at Caesarea, the high priest Ananias arrives with elders and the skilled lawyer Tertullus to present formal charges against Paul. Tertullus flatters Felix with polished words about peace and reform, then turns sharply to accuse Paul of stirring up unrest, leading the Nazarene sect, and attempting to desecrate the temple. The gathered Jewish leaders stand in agreement, creating a tense and politically charged courtroom scene.

가이사랴의 총독 관저 법정에서 대제사장 아나니아가 장로들과 변호사 더둘로와 함께 와서 바울을 정식으로 고발한다. 더둘로는 먼저 벨릭스를 평화와 개혁을 이룬 통치자로 치켜세우며 아첨한 뒤, 바울이 소요를 일으키고 나사렛 이단의 우두머리이며 성전을 더럽히려 했다고 날카롭게 비난한다. 주변에 선 유대 지도자들도 이에 동조하며, 법정은 긴장감과 정치적 계산이 가득한 분위기로 채워진다.
