Acts 22 (vv. 6-11)

Near Damascus at midday, Paul recalls the moment everything changed: a sudden, overwhelming light from heaven flashes around him. He falls to the ground and hears the voice of Jesus asking why he is persecuting him. His companions are stunned by the light, and Paul rises blinded, needing to be led by the hand into the city.
