Acts 21 (vv. 4-6)

After staying with the disciples in Tyre, Paul and his companions prepare to depart, even though the believers, prompted through the Spirit, have urged him not to continue to Jerusalem. The entire community—men, women, and children—walks with them out of the city to the shoreline. There, in a moving public farewell, they kneel together on the beach and pray before parting, combining tenderness, grief, and submission to God’s will.

바울과 그의 동행들은 두로의 제자들과 함께 머문 뒤 떠날 준비를 한다. 성령의 감동으로 제자들은 바울에게 예루살렘으로 가지 말라고 권했지만, 결국 모두 함께 도시 밖 해변까지 배웅한다. 남자들뿐 아니라 아내들과 아이들까지 함께한 공동체는 바닷가에 무릎을 꿇고 기도하며 작별한다. 이 장면은 다정한 사랑, 깊은 슬픔, 그리고 하나님의 뜻에 대한 순종이 함께 어우러진 감동적인 순간이다.
