Acts 12 (vv. 10-11)

Peter and the angel pass the first and second guards and come to the iron gate leading into the city. Without human touch, the gate opens by itself, and they step into the night street beyond. After walking one street’s length, the angel suddenly disappears, and Peter fully realizes that the Lord has truly rescued him from Herod’s power.

베드로와 천사는 첫 번째와 두 번째 경비를 지나 성으로 통하는 쇠문 앞에 이른다. 사람의 손길 없이 문이 저절로 열리고, 그들은 밤의 거리로 걸어나간다. 한 거리쯤 갔을 때 천사는 갑자기 사라지고, 그제야 베드로는 주께서 참으로 자신을 헤롯의 손에서 구해 내셨음을 온전히 깨닫는다.
