Description
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appears in the prison, and brilliant light floods the dark cell. The angel touches Peter to wake him and commands him to rise quickly; at once the chains fall from Peter’s wrists. Still dazed, Peter dresses and follows, unsure whether this is reality or a vision, as divine intervention quietly overturns impossible circumstances.
