Description
After the ark is set in the tent David prepared, he offers burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, blesses the people in the name of the LORD, and distributes bread, dates, and raisins to all the crowd. But when he returns home to bless his household, Michal confronts him with scorn over his public dancing. David answers that he was celebrating before the LORD who chose him, and he declares he will humble himself even more. The chapter closes with the sorrowful note that Michal had no children to the day of her death.
