Description
The chapter closes with a sequence of victories over the descendants of Rapha: Sibbekai kills Saph, Elhanan kills the brother of Goliath, and Jonathan son of Shimeah strikes down the giant with six fingers and six toes. Together these scenes show that though David is aging, the LORD still grants victory through the mighty men of Israel.
