2 Peter 1 (vv. 19-21)

The final scene gathers the chapter’s teaching about Scripture and prophecy. In a dark world, a lamp burns steadily beside an opened scroll while prophets and hearers are shown as recipients of divine revelation rather than inventors of it. Wind-like movement and subtle luminous presence symbolize the Holy Spirit carrying human messengers, while the first glimmer of dawn and a morning star suggest the rising light of Christ in believing hearts.
