2 Kings 8 (vv. 3-6)

After seven years in Philistine land, the woman returns to reclaim her house and fields. At the very moment Gehazi is telling the king about Elisha raising her son, she appears with the boy, and the king recognizes the providential timing. Moved by her testimony, he orders that all her property and the full income from the land be restored.

블레셋 땅에서 일곱 해를 보낸 뒤 여인은 자기 집과 밭을 되찾기 위해 돌아와 왕에게 호소한다. 마침 그 순간 게하시가 왕에게 엘리사가 그녀의 아들을 살린 일을 이야기하고 있었고, 여인은 그 아들과 함께 왕 앞에 나타난다. 왕은 이 섭리적인 때를 보고 그녀의 증언을 들은 뒤, 그녀의 재산과 떠난 날부터의 모든 소출까지 돌려주라고 명한다.
