2 Kings 5 (vv. 13-14)

After listening to the wise appeal of his servants, Naaman finally descends to the Jordan and obeys the prophet’s word. He dips himself seven times in the muddy river, and on the seventh immersion his flesh is restored, becoming like that of a young boy. This is the turning point of the story: pride gives way to obedience, and obedience opens the door to cleansing.
