Description
The conquerors carry the people into exile and strip the temple of its bronze, gold, and silver treasures. The great pillars, the bronze Sea, and the sacred vessels are dismantled and taken away, while priests, officers, and officials are led to Riblah for execution. Only the poorest remain in the land to tend vineyards and fields, as Judah is emptied of its leaders and glory.
