Description
Hezekiah's officials come before Isaiah son of Amoz and deliver the king's desperate message: Judah is in a day of distress, like a mother too weak to bring forth a child. Isaiah answers with calm prophetic authority, declaring that the LORD has heard the Assyrian blasphemy and will turn the enemy back to his own land, where he will fall by the sword.
