Description
After hearing the Assyrian threat, King Hezekiah tears his royal garments and puts on sackcloth, a public sign of grief and humility. He enters the temple of the LORD in deep distress, while his officials and leading priests, also clothed in sackcloth, prepare to go to the prophet Isaiah and seek a word from God.
