Description
After Athaliah’s removal, Jehoiada renews the covenant between the LORD, the king, and the people. The people then tear down the temple of Baal, destroy its idols, and escort Joash from the temple to the palace, where he takes his place on the royal throne as the city rejoices and peace returns.
