2 Kings 11 (vv. 4-11)

In the seventh year, Jehoiada gathers commanders, guards, and Carites in the temple and binds them by oath. He then reveals the hidden king’s son and arms the loyal forces with spears and shields associated with David, arranging a protective ring around the boy in preparation for a public coronation.
