Description
Josiah gathers the elders, priests, Levites, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, from the least to the greatest, at the temple. Standing by his pillar, he reads the Book of the Covenant and renews the nation’s commitment to follow the LORD with all heart and soul. The people join in the pledge, and Josiah removes the remaining idols so that the people serve the LORD during his lifetime.
