Description
Hezekiah organizes the priests and Levites by their divisions and duties so that worship at the temple may continue properly. Priests prepare for burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, Levites stand ready to minister, give thanks, and sing praises at the gates of the LORD’s dwelling. The king also provides from his own possessions for the regular offerings and commands the people of Jerusalem to support the priests and Levites, so they may devote themselves fully to the Law of the LORD.
