2 Chronicles 31 (vv. 1)

After the sacred assembly ends, the people spread out through Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh to destroy the visible symbols of idolatry. Sacred stones are smashed, Asherah poles are cut down, and hilltop shrines and altars are torn apart. The scene captures a national turning point: the people are not merely celebrating worship in Jerusalem, but carrying reform back into every town before returning to their homes and lands.
