Description
Messengers arrive in urgency before King Jehoshaphat to report that a vast army from Moab, Ammon, and Mount Seir is advancing from the region of En Gedi. The king is visibly alarmed, yet instead of rushing to military action, he turns the crisis into a national act of dependence on the LORD by proclaiming a fast. People from every town of Judah begin gathering to seek divine help.
