2 Chronicles 12 (vv. 9)

Shishak enters Jerusalem and carries off the treasures of the temple of the LORD and the royal palace, including the gold shields made by Solomon. The scene portrays the humiliation of Judah: sacred and royal splendor stripped away, the visible cost of covenant unfaithfulness laid bare in the emptied halls of glory.

시삭은 예루살렘에 들어와 여호와의 성전과 왕궁의 보물, 곧 솔로몬이 만들었던 금방패까지 모두 빼앗아 간다. 이 장면은 유다의 치욕을 보여 준다. 거룩함과 왕권의 영광을 상징하던 것들이 벗겨져 나가고, 언약에 불충실했던 대가가 비어 가는 영광의 전당 속에 선명히 드러난다.
