Description
Critically wounded and fearing humiliation at the hands of the Philistines, Saul asks his armor-bearer to end his life. When the young man cannot bring himself to do it, Saul takes his own sword and falls upon it. Seeing his master dead, the armor-bearer follows him, and the royal house collapses in a single dark moment on the mountain.
