Description
Shaken by the storm, the people plead with Samuel to pray for them, confessing that they have added the sin of asking for a king to all their other sins. Samuel reassures them that although they have done evil, they must not turn away from the LORD but serve him wholeheartedly. He promises not to sin by failing to pray for them and urges both people and king to remember the LORD’s great deeds and remain faithful.
