1 Samuel 10 (vv. 5-6, 9-13)

At Gibeah, Saul meets a procession of prophets descending from the high place with lyres, timbrels, pipes, and harps. As music and prophecy fill the air, the Spirit of God comes powerfully upon him, and Saul joins them in ecstatic praise, transformed before the eyes of those who knew him. The onlookers are astonished, and the moment gives rise to the saying, 'Is Saul also among the prophets?'

기브아에서 사울은 수금과 소고와 피리와 하프를 앞세우고 산당에서 내려오는 선지자들의 무리를 만납니다. 음악과 예언의 울림이 공기를 채우는 가운데 하나님의 영이 그에게 강하게 임하고, 사울은 그들 가운데 섞여 예언하며 그를 알던 사람들 앞에서 변화된 모습을 드러냅니다. 구경하던 이들은 크게 놀라고, 이 순간은 '사울도 선지자들 중에 있느냐?'라는 속담을 낳게 됩니다.
