1 Samuel 10 (vv. 2-4)

As Samuel foretold, Saul encounters confirming signs along his journey. Near Rachel's tomb, two men tell him the lost donkeys have been found and that his father now worries for him. Farther on by the great tree of Tabor, three worshipers on their way to Bethel greet him, carrying goats, bread, and wine, and they offer him two loaves. These ordinary travelers become part of an extraordinary chain of divine confirmation.
