1 Peter 1 (vv. 18-25)

The final scene combines the passage’s two great closing images: redemption through the precious blood of Christ, the spotless lamb, and new birth through the imperishable word of God. In the foreground stands a pure lamb in symbolic stillness, while a gathered community listens to the reading of a scroll, their hearts softened into sincere love for one another. Around them, grass and wildflowers begin to fade in the dry wind, contrasting with the enduring word being proclaimed. The scene should carry both tenderness and theological depth, showing that earthly glory fades but redemption and God’s word remain forever.
