Description
Ahab returns to his palace bitter and humiliated, throwing himself onto his bed and refusing food. Jezebel enters, questions his mood, and, after hearing the cause, confidently takes control. She writes letters in Ahab’s name and seals them with the royal seal, setting in motion a conspiracy that will abuse royal authority for personal gain.
