Description
At noon, while Ben-Hadad and his allied kings are drunk in their tents, the 232 junior officers march out first from Samaria, followed by the Israelite force. The Arameans misread the movement, and Israel suddenly strikes. Panic spreads through the enemy camp, the Arameans flee, and Ben-Hadad escapes on horseback as Israel overruns horses and chariots.
