Description
After a long drought, Elijah obeys the word of the LORD and goes to present himself to Ahab. In the parched land of Samaria, Obadiah, Ahab’s palace administrator and a faithful worshiper of the LORD, is searching the countryside for grass and water to keep the royal animals alive. On the road he suddenly encounters Elijah, falls to the ground in reverence, and fears the danger of announcing Elijah’s presence to the king. The scene captures faith, fear, and divine timing in a land broken by famine.
